Stora Lee Camping is situated in wonderful natural surroundings
with rich possibilities for outdoor activities and great experiences
in nature. Below you will find some suggestions for possible activities

Canoeing
Stora Lee is great for canoeing. You will have the possibility to
go for long and short expeditions. Dalslandscanal ends in Stora
Lee and consists of many lakes attached with canals and acvaducts.
Canoes can be rented at the camping site.

Pony riding
Brunen and Svarten are two lovely Shetland ponies. In the summer we arrange riding tours for the children. |

Areas for sporting and playing
The camping site has developed areas for ball activities, and there
are trampolines and playgrounds.

Forest excursions
Surrounding the camping site there is a lovely terrain, for both
walkers and bikers. In the summer and in the autumn the area is
filled with mushrooms and berries.

Fishing
Is your dream to fish big, hungry pike - to get the exhilarating feeling of winning over wild pike in the heavyweight league? If so, Stora Lee is the right destination!. Stora Lee is an 80 km long clear water lake. It has abut 300 small and large islands which create many good pike fishing places. It also offers interesting fishing for big perch and inland salmon. Pikes are usually about 2 to 7 kg. but you just might be surprised by one of more than 12 kg!

Milk-pail throwing
Milk-pail throwing is a large sport at the camping site, and once
a year we hold a competition to choose the person whom through the
longest.

- Stroemsfoss - Mill Museum and the Miller's house.
- Boensaetre
- an old farm as it was a hundred years ago, and run as a living
museum.
- Fredriksten
fortress where the Swedish King Carl XII found his death.
- A trip with MS
Turisten, which has daily departures from halden, Aremark and Ørje.
